Socratic Seminar - Romeo and Juliet

Using quotes from the text as prompts, discuss the driving questions of the play, connecting the subject matter of the play to:  your life, the world, Romeo and Juliet, another text.

The DQs:

What is Love?
Do you believe in fate, or can people make their own destiny?
How do relationships shape or change our sense of loyalty, values or actions?
In what ways do little decisions affect our big achievements, responsibilities or actions?

The Quotes:

A list of the quotes we discussed in class is here.

For each quote, understand the context of the quote(sho said it, when it was said, why it is relevant to the plot or theme of the play), and how this quote relates to one of the DQs above.

You can use any notes that you have taken on the Socratic Seminar.
